Can asthma be cured?



Asthma will affect a lot of people. There is no way of knowing if you are going to get asthma. 

Asthma symptoms and attacks can improve with the right treatment and over time.  However, asthma cannot be cured.  It is something that you cannot control and you will have to do deal with.  There are many different treatments to help people go on with their daily lives so that they are not affected.  With these treatments, they can live happy and normal lifestyles.

Many children will eventually outgrow asthma as they grow into adolescence or early adulthood.  In some of the people, exposure to major respiratory irritants like smoking or fumes can trigger symptoms of asthma later in their life.  These things can bring back the problems of asthma that they once had and outgrew.  It is important to keep these triggers away from you if you are suffering from asthma or once did. 

Patients who do not control their asthma or follow their doctor's advisements will develop more severe asthma over the years. This is why it is so important to make sure that you are following the rules and using good judgment when you are someone that is dealing with asthma.  You need to be careful and make sure that you are doing what is necessary to keep yourself safe from having a severe asthma attack.

Although there is no cure for asthma, you can learn to live with it. You do not have to sacrifice your life because of it. You can control it and move on to have a happy and healthy life. You can find ways to make your asthma almost transparent so that you do not have to deal with it all the time.  You can be happy and do all the things that you have always dreamed about doing. 

You should not be disappointed if you have asthma. You can still do the things that you want and have fun. All you have to do is make sure that you are being cautious and making good choices for yourself. Keep taking your treatments and you will do fine. It may be a hassle at some times, but you have to keep an open mind and make sure that you have all the knowledge that is needed so that you can be safe.  There are limitations, but you will not have to worry as long as you take your treatments and see a doctor on a regular basis. 

Researchers are still working on asthma and trying to find ways to eventually one day cure it. Like all disease, there are things that they have not learned yet.  However they are finding out new things each day and with everyday that passes, they are getting closer to finding a way to cure asthma once and for all.
